Physical Appearance
Bryan is, in most ways, an average looking individual, but he works out religiously. He has, over the years, trimmed his body, toned his muscles, and has gradually built up the stamina to run several miles a day. Bryan is always clean-shaven, with a fresh haircut. He keeps his hair short, and has it cut once a week.
History
Bryan was born and raised on Earth, working on his parents farm in eastern Colorado until the day he turned 18. He has a younger brother, Michael, and younger sister, Kaitlyn. His parents are the children of farmers, who themselves were the children of farmers. Bryan always felt he was capable of more, and left home on his 18th birthday, joining a cargo ship bound for Risa.

Bryan spent the next seven years working various cargo ships, doing runs all over and past Federation space. He found he had a problem staying with one crew for very long, however, whether from a tendency to get himself into trouble, or his inability to make a lot of quick friends.

At the age of 24, Bryan applied to Starfleet Academy, and began his freshman year at the age of 25. He graduated and was commissioned as an Ensign at the end of 2395, and was assigned to the USS Calhoun as the Assistant Chief of Operations.

Bryan's first mission onboard the Calhoun began immediately, when he beamed down to join the away team on a first contact mission. The team found themselves abducted, as were the colonists on the planet, and experimented on aboard an alien vessel, while the crew remaining behind on the ship were experimented on mentally through some sort of mass dream state. During the course of the mission, Bryan rescued a fellow crewmember and was awarded the Star Cross on stardate 2396.03.07, as well as being promoted to Ltjg.

After arriving at Delta One, the ship was assigned a new mission. Investigate a distress signal from a race of ship's nobody had heard of, on a frequency that hasn't been used in fifty years. Through a concerted effort by the crew, the ship was found, and an away team sent. Onboard, they found 15 human children, who were transported back to the Calhoun. The away team returned, and began to investigate.

Bryan, Sheryl, and Luke found several bodies, as well as a recording indicating the children were responsible for the massacre of the original Targoth ship. Suddenly, the ship, which was without power or propulsion, was hurled to a previously unexplored section of space, above a class M planet. With no way to contact the Calhoun, how will the away team find their way home?
Psychological Profile
Shy: Bryan is capable of making and maintaining meaningful friendships, but does so only with a small group of individuals. Once made, he is fiercely loyal to these friends.

Obsessive Compulsive: Bryan is a neat freak. Both his person and personal space are meticulously groomed and clean, and any discrepancy is cause for great concern and angst in him.
Specialties and Skills
Well rounded. Bryan's time on cargo vessels has taught him much about Engineering, triage, and starship operation and piloting. The only area he is currently behind the curve in is Science.
Hobbies and Interests
Hitting the gym. Bryan can either be found in the gym or his personal quarters most days, when not on shift. He is an avid reader, and collector of printed books.
