A Dutch food, kroket is, if prepared correctly, some ragout, stuffed with meat (typically 10-20%), given extra finesse by the addition of special herbs. Of course, these herbs are selected with great care. This ragout is surrounded by some crispy layer. Usually, it has the shape of a cilinder with a diameter of about one inch and a length of about three or four inches. The exact size differs from kroket to kroket, so don't be surprised if you find yourself eating a 4.1'' kroket! (Frontier Fleet: USS Valkyrie)
