After being crippled powerless by an alien probe, this probe has also caused erratic behavior from Captain Bennek, Lieutenant Vrass, and Ensign Plox. As if that weren't enough, a Klingon ship also under the influence of this probe has taken over the Odyssey, and imprisoned the crew. The bridge personnel being kept in the brig (Commanders Denebris, Commander Hart, Lieutenant Travian, Ensign Rybek, and Head Nurse Alvas) have managed to escape, but they face long odds to retake the ship, with some personnel still in custody elsewhere (Lieutenant Velden, and Lieutenant Andrusia) and some that are being held on the Klingon ship (Lieutenant Helfrump, and Ensigns Elan and Nerell).
