(|USS Calhoun / Delta One Status Report by Adrian Rodd|)
Current Stardate: 2391.03.16

Current Mission:
No sooner had Captain Sarin returned to command than the unexpected occurred, in the form of a small, unidentified alien ship approaching the station and demanding shelter. The aliens proved extremely agitated, and kidnapped two members of the crew, no doubt to get what they wanted in return. To everyone’s surprise, a Cardassian Galor-class warship promptly dropped out of warp, disabled the ship’s shields, beamed the Starfleet crewmembers to safety, and destroyed the alien vessel.
Upon opening communications, the Calhoun crew learned that the Cardassians had been in the Delta Quadrant for the past twenty-two years, after having been pulled there by the Caretaker. They had colonised a part of a nearby planet, and begun to "civilise" its inhabitants, Cardassian-style. Having vaguely admitted the destroyed ship was from a species that had once attempted to colonise the same planet, the elderly Gul invited the Calhoun’s senior staff to visit their new world, Darennia.
Meanwhile, the crew wonder how to retrieve their missing First Officer, who was kidnapped by a drone-like creature several days earlier. . .
