Soccer
Also known as Football, this sport originated on Earth. A round ball is propelled toward's the opponent's goal by kicking or by striking with the body or the head. The goalkeepers are the only players allowed to touch the ball with the hands or forearms. Worf was the captain of his soccer team at age 13. Golanga is a famous soccer player who injured his knee in 2366. They replaced the knee with a bio-implant, but he wasn’t the same after it. (DS9: Paradise)
Species, Starship, Anomaly
Game similar to Animal, Vegetable, Mineral. One player thinks of something, and the other player has 15 questions before he must guess what it is. (VOY: Riddles)
Springball
Bajoran competitive sport. Played by two people, springball is a full-contact sport, similar to Earth handball, played on a court with a back wall that is marked to indicate goals and foul lines. The floor of the court is marked with foul lines also. The court has two unmarked side walls, and the back of the court is sometimes composed of a transparent forcefield, allowing spectators to view the game. The object of the game is to try to hit the ball with a gloved hand so that it hits a clearly marked oval on the far wall without hitting the foul zones. The players can body check each other to prevent their opponent from making a shot, but punching and kicking are not allowed. Protective helmets are often worn.
An annual springball tournament is held in the Bajoran system. There is also a court on station DS9.
Starfleet Academy Marathon
A 40 kilometer race, that originated in ancient Greece on Earth. In 2323, Cadet Jean-Luc Picard became the only freshman to ever win the Starfleet Academy Marathon, passing four upperclassmen on the last hill on planet Danula II.
Strategema
A challenging holographic game of strategy and wills. Played by two contestants, the game involves manipulating circular icons on a three-dimensional grid to gain control of one's opponent's territory while defending your own.
Tennis
Earth game played by striking a ball back and forth with racquets over a net stretched between two equal areas that together constitute a court. The stress of striking the ball can sometimes cause radio-humeral bursitis, or tennis elbow. A new racket available in 2370 used a nillimate alloy. (DS9: The Wire)

Three-dimentional chess
The principles of three-dimensional chess are basically mathematic. (TOS: Charlie X)
Multilevel version of chess. One version uses a board with three 4x4 main boards and a number of 2x2 secondary boards.
The Aldabren Exchange is a strategy in this form of chess. The el-Mitra Exchange is another strategy that is considered a strong response to the Kriskov Gambit. The Kriskov Gambit is normally countered with the el-Mitra Exchange.

Tongo
Tongo is a popular Ferengi game that uses cards and a roulette type wheel. Players wager latinum on the game. A no-limit game can involve greater bets. Moves include: acquire, confront, initiate, risk, roll away, challenge, evade, retreat, and sell. Instead of saying "It's your turn," in Tongo, they say, "The risk is to you." In a typical game, the opening risk is 5 strips of latinum, the purchase is at 3, the sell is at 8. A full consortium is a winning outcome in Tongo.
The Global Tongo Championships take place annually on Ferenginar. Some Ferengi, such as Lonzo, are professional Tongo players. (DS9: Afterimage; Rules of Acquisition)
