(|cordrazine|)
McCoy accidentally injects himself with cordrazene.McCoy gave Sulu a dose of cordrazene after he was injured because McCoy detected some heart flutter. McCoy accidentally injected himself with this when the ship experienced turbulence. Two drops can save a man's life. A hundred times that amount was pumped into Dr. McCoy. In dosages that high there is some record of wild paranoia. Subjects fail to recognize acquaintances, and became hysterically convinced that they were in mortal danger and sought escape at all costs. They are extremely dangerous to themselves or to anyone else. (TOS: The City on the Edge of Forever) McCoy asked Chapel to give Ensign Rizzo one cc of cordrazine in order to revive him when Kirk wanted to question him about the dikironium cloud creature. (TOS: Obession) This drug is a stimulant. Neelix wanted to give this to the hatchling he and Tom Paris found on Planet Hell. (VOY: Parturition)
