O'Brien and Bashir in costume for the Battle of Clontarf.A holosuite program that recreates a historic conflict between 1,000 Irish warriors and a horde of ravening Vikings that took place on Earth in 1014. The Battle was a disastrous defeat for the Irish, led by King Brian Boru.

Recreation of the Battle of Klach D'kel Brakt, a legendary Klingon victory over the Romulans in the 2270's. Quark obtained this program to please the increasing numbers of Klingons visiting Deep Space Nine. (DS9: Blood Oath)

A holodeck recreation of an epic Klingon conflict.
 
(|Beowulf|)
Freya.Holonovel based on an epic poem written in 8th century England. It drew from Scandinavian history and folklore, and recounted the hero Beowulf's fight with the water monster Grendel, his victory over a dragon, and his later death and funeral. One character was Freya, a shield-maiden and daughter to King Hrothgar. Freya boasted about her victories with Scyld the Gar-Dane and her campaign against the heatho-bards.
