It is a retrovirus that destroys cells by attacking the cytoplasmic membranes. It lies dormant, disguising itself as inert neurogenic material. It is indetectable to biofilters. Onset comes without warning. A cure was devised using stem cells from a Human-Klingon fetus. (VOY: Prophecy)   Nitrogen Narcosis An affliction that affects deep sea divers. It is caused by the replacement of oxygen in oxyhemoglobin with nitrogen. It produces disorientation, hallucinations and lack of judgement.   π
