Their existence is disrupted whenever a ship enters the Bajoran Wormhole. (DS9: Emissary)  History  The Prophets are worshipped by the Bajorans as Gods. They inhabit the Celestial Temple, which is the Bajoran Wormhole. The Prophets sent the Bajoran orbs to seek contact with other non-corporeal life forms. (DS9: Emissary)  Society  The Prophets had no concept of linear time until they encountered Captain Sisko.
